The Small Log Nest is modeled after the initial chambers of Camponotus sp. queens and small colonies, but it's also suitable for various other ant genera. Its tall interior (15mm) and spacious layout (35mm) provide ample room for queens to move and choose their founding spot. It accommodates 3/8 inch inner diameter vinyl tubing and measures 2.4" by 1.6". To clean, disassemble and hand wash in hot water, then let it dry and reassemble. It comes with one Small Buckeye Myrmecology Log Nest, five 16mm test tubes, one clip-on macro lens, one steel-tipped tweezers, two byFormica liquid feeder micros, one byFormica liquid feeder mini (5ml + 2ml), one 3ml pipette, and 10ml of Fluon.
